2020 Vintage Wines
Out on Love
Let’s cut to the chase here: This might be the best wine we made in 2020, and it’s out of a grape that doesn’t always spring to mind for its best-in-the-cellar potential: Pinot Gris. Alas, a one-off, so grab it if you see it.
Hard Promises
Steely and bright, this is Pinot Blanc as it’s rarely presented. A long elevage allowed this wine to combine complexity and brightness in an uncommon way.
Racing Gloves
Our ode to the col fondo style of sparkling wine, which is refermented in bottle but not disgorged (aka, it’s bottle-conditioned), this blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay is flinty and mineral with a fun rusticity.
Gravity’s Pull
Chardonnay may prove to be the signature grape of the Willamette Valley. This wine represents a fully realized vision of what we look for in the grape—an homage to Burgundy and Friuli by way of Oregon.
