2021 Vintage Wines
We’ll remember 2021 as a delightful, easy year. It seemed like the grapes naturally wanted to produce wines of beautiful brightness, good concentration, and detailed aromatics.
Gravity’s Pull
Chardonnay may prove to be the signature grape of the Willamette Valley. Minerally, bright, and electric, this wine represents a fully realized vision of what we look for in the grape—an homage to Burgundy and Friuli by way of Oregon.
Lost Coastlines
We swore we wouldn’t make Pinot Noir until there was an overwhelmingly compelling reason to do it—which is to say, until we could source grapes from an absolutely top-tier vineyard. Made entirely from Fir Crest Vineyard, which we’d submit as the single most compelling vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton, it’s a wine of real personality and vibrancy that’s built for the cellar.
Broken Radios
The 2021 Broken Radios is a wine we thought we’d never make (it got its name as a nod to its one-off status during its only other release). Red fruited and snappy, with vibrant acidity and a distinct exotic spice undertone, this is a co-fermentation of Pinot Noir (25%) and Pinot Gris (75%) from Whistling Ridge Vineyard.
Hard Promises
Precisely what we’re after when we make Pinot Blanc. Only two barrels were selected for this bottling, and they have the raciness, minerality, and ageworthiness we’re after from the moment we pick the grapes. If any of our wines has a cult following, it’s this one.
David + Veronica
A blend of 70% Pinot Blanc from Twelve Oaks and 30% Chardonnay from a warmer site in Yamhill. This has the brightness and vivacity we’re after, but is more approachable now than many of our other wines.
